Steampunk Printables

I still haven't forgotten the Steampunk world! I've been hammering out the ideas for my outfit, and I'm still undecided where I want to go. What can I say? Making decisions are one of my flaws. I don't know if I want to go down Fancy Boulevard or Explorer Drive. I'm hoping that when I do finally figure it out, it'll be an "AHA!" moment.

I love finding items that make me happy to turn the printer on, and excited to print it out. These particular links were the idea of my sister, so I can't take the credit for that.

I have to be honest, I've never tried my hand at cupcakes. However, I'd be willing to make less-than-photograph-worthy cupcakes just so I can slip these sleeves around em!
Download them at Plush Possum Studio
(I think I've fallen in love).

I'd throw a party just so I could get the chance to use these masks!
Download them here at Plush Possum Studio.
FYI: I really love the Old World map look, and always have.

I can't remember the last time I played with a paper doll. In the 18th century is when they were first introduced. It's now 2014 and they are not completely forgotten.
Download her at Altered Artifacts.
(She has other clothes to download as well)

Other Printables Links (.... yes, I'm being lazy....)
Party Mask for Gents from Plush Possum Studio
Party Mask for Ladies from Plush Possum Studio
Fan Invitation/Ornament from Plush Possum Studio
Variety of printables from Altered Artifacts

Seriously, I may need to stock up on printer ink, though.

Anxiety Update #1,545,268

It's been a while since I've probably updated on how my anxiety is going. The question is, do I go with the long version or the short version? For the sake of being lazy, I'll simply make it short and sweet.

It's been up and down, consistently I must say. For a few minutes/hours, I'll be fine and happy. Shortly after, the anxiety goes right back up. It's getting annoying and frustrating. Stress, for me, really tends to drive it up. Right now, the stress level is higher than I am comfortable with, but I'm learning to stay calm. I have to remember that even though my brain would love to freak out, I will be okay. I've survived many other stressful moments, so I can push through this obstacle as well.

For a while I let my anxiety define who I was. I let it control my emotions and personality. Now, I'm back to my weird, quirky, and funny self. I still worry every single day, every single hour, but I'm allowing my personality to shine through.

Now I just hope that I can ignore this chocolate craving. Ice cream and a cheesy movie sounds like the perfect Saturday night plan.

I Watch Golden Girls + Congenital Anosmia

Have you ever had a bad hair day where you just sit there and question its existence? I'm full-frizz right now, which is normal for me, but still just as frustrating. 99% of the time, it's in a ponytail or just as messy bun. Luckily, very few people have seen me at full fuzzball.

So, aside from the hair problems, let's have some fun. Here are some weird things you may (or may not) know about me.
  • Every night, per my nightly routine, I watch The Golden Girls, and have for a few years now. I've seen every single episode several hundred (slight exaggeration) times, and it's funny every time. Somehow, I see my sister and me as Dorothy and Sophia- even if they are mother and daughter. We have that kind of relationship: loving, yet sarcastic.
  • I have congenital anosmia. Sounds weird, right? It's the lifelong inability to smell that starts from birth. My mother has it and passed it on to me. While I'll never know what chocolate, roses, or baked cookies will smell like, I also don't have to worry about those weird and gross smells. It can be a blessing, actually.
  • Halloween is actually most my favorite holiday. I get excited when stores start carrying Halloween decorations. If my budget allowed it, I'd buy everything I wanted. Luckily, several forces (namely my family) keeps me on the right track. Yay family!
  • If you haven't noticed by now, I am a huge Star Wars fan. I'm slowly trying to grow my collection of any and all Star Wars stuff. My dear sister is helping.
  • I have a small phobia of driving. I worry that I'll get into an accident or get pulled over by a cop even if I am going the speed limit. It even extends to being a passenger... This is probably the reason I must have the radio on. I can concentrate on messing up the lyrics in a song instead, or playing air guitar in the passenger seat. I DON'T CARE WHO SEES ME!

Geek My Ride

We're currently having a small problem with a vehicle.... we don't have one. So while we're shopping around for a "new" car, I dream of geeking out the new car with Star Wars galore! Of course, I've been able to convince (or persuade...) my sister over to the Force. I can't help it.

To be honest, I'm a little bit excited about the idea of getting into the car and seeing something that makes me happy. True, it may be weird to some, but I don't mind being weird. I am who I am, and that's not going to change.
Somehow, I imagine someone making the ngaarr sounds as they put their seat belt around them. Or, I would be that "someone."

Let me just say that I have yet decided if I want to go strictly with the Dark side or the Light side. I'm leaning towards the Light side... for obvious Chewbacca reasons.

Okay, so it can also be "Any other smooth surface" decal.
By the way, you MUST read the reviews on this if you love Star Wars just as much as I do. They are freakin hilarious!!

Now I may need to get one of the decals for the laptop. I'm gonna geek out this laptop!

MapCrunch Game

While bored and cruising through Pinterest, I came across this picture:

I decided to check it out and see if it is as fun as it's made out to be.

Let me say this: It is! It's like you are taking a vacation while not having to leave your house. Of course, trying to look for an airport when you have no idea where in the world you are? It's only a little frustrating.

During my first try, I was dropped in the middle of a country road surrounded by trees/bushes. After realizing that no matter what road I turned on, the countryside just kept going and going and wanted to really see where I was. What country was I in? Co. Meath, Ireland.
I've always wanted to visit Ireland, so this kind of works.

To change it where you cannot see the country you are in, just click "Options" at the top, and then put a check mark in "Stealth." Once you have done that, click on "GO!" and then you are ready for an adventure. If you want to see what country you are in, just repeat the steps (minus "go.)

This is Tuesday excitement.

Take A Journal Break

At the moment, my journal is starting to sound like Groundhog's Day- the same worries over and over. The first entry of the day always starts off with my anxieties. Now that I think about it, that's probably a good thing. After that, I can continue to write about what else is on my mind. Sadly, they are neither exciting nor blog-worthy. They will stay locked in the vault!

When I start feeling bogged down by this disorder, I start a "break" page. If you follow me on my personal Facebook, you'll notice a photo album labeled "Break Pages." These are some doodles (or lack thereof) that I do in between 4 or 5 journal entries.
Loops galore!

Down the Tim Burton-esque spiral!
(Two of many break pages)

I've really come to enjoy drawing patterns. Repetition is my friend, apparently. It stirs creativity and I can concentrate on something else. HOORAY!!

Although this isn't completely new, I recently found out Zentangle! It's fun and allows your creativity to just flow!! For more information, you can visit here. At, there are many patterns to help you get started.
